Job Description

Tomorrow’s Children, Inc. is a non-profit Residential Treatment Facility dedicated to serving children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. We provide a structured, homelike environment focused on therapeutic care, life skills development, and positive behavioral support.

Position Overview

We are seeking a vigilant, compassionate Youth Care Worker for our overnight shift. In this role, you will maintain a safe, calm environment while providing constant supervision and care for 6–7 youth during overnight hours.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Overnight Supervision: Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) to monitor and support children with emotional and severe behavioral needs.
  • Direct Care & Safety: Maintain a structured, home-like setting, ensuring all safety protocols and night-time routines are strictly followed.
  • Documentation: Accurately track and record daily logs, safety observations, behavioral incidents, and night-to-morning transitions.
  • Facility Upkeep: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and minor maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, comfortable living space for residents.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Passion for Youth Advocacy: Strong desire to support and mentor children facing behavioral and emotional struggles.
  • Alertness & Reliability: Ability to maintain full awake alertness and focus throughout overnight shifts.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills for daily incident logs and care team handoffs.
