River Point Behavioral Health is dedicated to providing specialized care for individuals of all ages experiencing emotional, developmental, substance abuse, and behavioral health challenges. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of our patients.
We are seeking a Board Certified Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join our hospital-employed team. You will work alongside a robust multidisciplinary support team including Behavioral Health Technicians, Psychiatric RNs, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, and Therapists utilizing the Cerner EMR system.
Practice Highlights:
- Daily Caseload: 18 patient average daily caseload expectation with productivity bonus incentives for additional earnings.
- Schedule & Call: Full-time Monday through Friday day schedule with a 1:4 shared call rotation.
- Growth Opportunities: Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) procedures available if interested (training can be provided).
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Evaluations: Conduct admission evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and follow-up.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in daily treatment team meetings and collaborate closely with BH Techs, Psych RNs, Psych NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists to deliver high-quality, holistic care.
- Documentation & Compliance: Complete required clinical documentation and patient notes accurately and in a timely manner within the Cerner EMR system in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Call & Caseload Management: Maintain an efficient 18-patient daily caseload expectation and participate in the 1:4 shared call schedule.

Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency program.
- Board Certification in General Psychiatry.
- Active Florida medical license and DEA registration in good standing (or eligibility to obtain prior to hire).
