Job Description

We are seeking a PRN Group Therapist with weekend availability to facilitate group therapy in our residential treatment setting.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care & Group Facilitation:
    • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops in a residential treatment setting.
    • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Collaborative Care & Documentation:
    • Work closely with multidisciplinary medical, psychiatric, and clinical teams to coordinate care and monitor patient progress.
    • Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards, utilizing AI-assisted documentation tools (Heather AI).
    • Assist with discharge planning to ensure continuity of care following residential treatment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or a related clinical field.
  • Licensure: Licensed or pre-licensed clinician required (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern status).
  • Certifications: Current CPR and Basic First Aid (BFA) certifications required.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
    • Availability to cover weekend shifts on a PRN basis.
