Job Description

Provide direct care, individual support, and daily routine supervision for clients receiving treatment for addiction and mental health challenges. Core responsibilities include assisting with behavioral interventions, co-facilitating client activities, monitoring safety, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary clinical team to execute individualized treatment plans.

 

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

Shift Availability:

  • Multiple shifts available (requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct Client Support: Offer 1-on-1 guidance focused on daily living skills, social skill development, and emotional regulation; assist with crisis management and safety interventions.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with therapists, psychiatrists, and nurses to implement treatment plans and track client progress.
  • Activity Guidance & Documentation: Participate in recreational therapy, educational sessions, and community outings to boost client engagement; maintain confidential, accurate client records.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required (degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred).
  • Experience & Knowledge: Experience in a mental/behavioral health environment preferred; 12-Step program experience required.
  • Clearances & Skills: Must have an acceptable driving record and pass a background check; strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
